Green hero: Beth Greer, Ivy&Bee-interiors

Beth Greer Ivy&Bee-interiors

We would like to shine a ’green light’ on Beth Greer, owner of Ivy&Bee-Interiors who is making beautiful, eco-friendly, and award-winning homeware available throughout the UK.

Unlike many of us who were battening down the hatches during the first pandemic-induced lockdown, Beth set about researching UK suppliers who would fit into the ethos she envisioned for Ivy&Bee-Interiors and turned her dream into a reality!

We were lucky enough to catch Beth for an interview.

Hi Beth! So, how did you get started with Ivy&Bee-Interiors?

“I’ve always had an interest in interior décor – this, combined with a desire to start my own business, really sparked the beginning for Ivy&Bee”.

Why go ‘green’ for your business?

“I wanted to provide homeware which was beautiful, functional and that importantly had a focus on being sustainable, so I began looking out for UK suppliers that would reflect my vision for the brand”.

“I’m passionate about nature and the environment.”

“I make sure that I donate funds each month through the business to support the replanting of trees in areas that have experienced deforestation.”

“Our blankets are made from recycled wool, and our candles are soy wax to keep in line with our eco-friendly values.”

That’s great! You must be proud of what you’ve achieved?

“As much as this has been a strange year for all of us, I’ve managed to grow a business while keeping true to our eco-friendly approach which I am proud of – it is thanks to our customers this has been the case.”

“We have also been featured in Cheshire Life magazine and Good Homes Magazine, along with winning our local ‘Living in Cheshire’ award for ‘Best Newcomer’ in Retail”.

Congratulations! And what are you most looking forward to going forward?

“I have the pleasure of working with and stocking some wonderful local and UK-based brands and I’m always on the lookout for collaborations which will add interest and value to Ivy&Bee – I’m especially looking forward to new stock arriving throughout the year and expanding our range of products”.

“We’ve had the most wonderful feedback from our customers and I feel so positive about the direction Ivy&Bee is moving in”.

“It’s really quite exciting looking at where we were in April to where we are now!”

“I’m hopeful for a more green and sustainable future and seeing more businesses take this approach.”
